Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Will Have Exploration Mode

Today's preview gives us a look into the Assassin's Creed Odyssey's "Power of Choice".

Ubisoft is making the playable character in the latest installment of their hit Assassin's Creed franchise a little more flexible this time around. "Markers are displayed at all times, and quest objectives are given to you automatically".

To show off that aspect, one that's sure to be a hit with gamers who have been asking the company for such an option for years, Ubisoft unveiled a new "Power of Choice" trailer for the upcoming release of Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

On Thursday, the two sides held a press conference to announce that Wright will indeed return to the majors this season. Wright hasn't played in the majors since May 27, 2016, due to various injuries.

In Exploration mode, "the user must investigate the world to uncover targets and quest objectives".

Exploration mode is a relatively new phenomena in the sphere of modern gaming (I certainly haven't played another open-world PC game that didn't offer quest markers). I was mostly accurate; reaching that rough area, I was then encouraged to use my eagle to pinpoint the true location. According to screenshots apparently taken from an IGN video, the game will feature both "Guided" and "Exploration" modes, each offering a very different experience. For example, you can choose the more traditional Guided mode or test your mapping skills in the new Exploration mode.
