OnePlus is again demonstrating its flexibility, offering options for different users by developing Type C Bullets to complement the already revered Bullets Wireless.

It's confirmed! The regular 3.5mm headphone jack is not going to be in the next OnePlus flagship phone.

It's worth noting that Pei never specifically referred to the "new OnePlus handset" as the OnePlus 6T in the interview, but all signs point to that being the next OnePlus device. "Every year I do a Twitter poll and the number of people taking part increases each time, this year there were over 19k votes, and 88% said they like physical headphone jacks".

Pei cited findings that his company had apparently gleaned from its "community" in explaining his rationale for dropping the 3.5mm jack. While many other manufacturers started removing the 3.5mm audio jack from their flagship devices starting 2016, OnePlus always backed its decision to feature the standard audio jack. All the OnePlus devices after that came with NFC support.

The Super Smash Bros Ultimate Nintendo Switch Is Pretty Sweet
You may recall last month when we came across a listing for a potential Super Smash Bros . Ultimate, as well as an adapter that enables you to play with it on Nintendo Switch .

Previous iterations from the smartphone maker required a physical fingerprint scanner to unlock the device. The leaks also confirmed the device to sport the waterdrop AMOLED display with a tiny notch. They come with several improvements and modifications that are aimed at delivering crisp and powerful sound. However, nearly two years later, the company has now announced a new pair of wired earphones, dubbed OnePlus Type-C Bullets.

The company said in a statement that, "Each detail of these earphones is crafted with the unique attention to detail that OnePlus is known for - for example, to make Type C Bullets easier to use, the company has added aramid fibre to the wire in order to make the Type C Bullets more durable and resistant to stretching".

Talking about the new headphone, the Chinese company has claimed that the Type-C headphones are designed for minimal quality loss ensuring superior audio experience when compared to the traditional 3.5mm connector. The company says that the DAC has a higher dynamic range, higher signal-to-noise ratio and low noise floor.
