The versatile midfielder was brought in from Monaco during the summer in a deal worth £43.7m.

Fabinho was one of Liverpool's expensive summer signings and while he has not featured yet this season, he impressed in Brazil's weekend win and could have played himself into Jurgen Klopp's plans.

All three Reds players were part of the Brazil side which defeated the United States of America 2-0 last week but Jurgen Klopp will be grateful that his trio of South American stars will be given the night off, if these latest reports turn out to be true.

"We're not playing at our very best, Jürgen has admitted that and I agree".

"It was good to play against English teams to see what the rhythm, the intensity and the physique are like".

"Jürgen has tried to keep his team more or less the same".

"Firmino is being a great guy, his family has given good support to me and Alisson".

But the Miami-based NHC stressed it remained "a life-threatening situation" due to the risks of storm surge around coastal areas. The surge will result in "large areas of deep inundation. enhanced by battering waves", the Weather Service said.

"It's been fine [settling in]".

The South American's won't return to Melwood until after Thursday's training session so they'll still need to be assessed by Liverpool's medical team but there is no reason they won't all be available for selection if they don't start for Brazil. Now it's really to make the debut.

And after being recalled for this global break, the 24-year-old is hoping regular Premier League exposure will lead to him establishing himself as a key part of Brazil's side.

"It has a much higher visibility than Ligue 1 in France".

"Everybody around me has been very supportive towards me so I am certainly giving everything I can to get settled into the team quickly".

"Obviously everyone is different and nowadays to play at Liverpool and here with England, you just have to try and inherit the styles of play that we use for club and country which requires you to be comfortable on the ball. I hope to have a sequence of games to continue in the Selecao".
