Game Freak, developer of Pokémon, has announced TOWN (working title), a turn-based RPG for the Nintendo Switch that takes place entirely in one village. The announcement was part of the reveals made at Nintendo Direct event.

Video game stories from other sites on the web. On the surface, it's a pretty ordinary town, besides the fact that it keeps being attacked by big monsters. Town is a chance for Game Freak to show they can do something really different, and I hope it succeeds. However, the ways in which players fight back differ from other Game Freak titles.

Insurer set private investigator on woman
TAL paid a private investigator $20,000 to find information that they could use to avoid paying the woman nearly $800,000. They were not the only shocks in the letter, which was also the first time TAL revealed its surveillance to the woman.

More information is sure to come in the following months leading up to Towns release, now set for 2019 for the Nintendo Switch. Game Freak would then go outside of Nintendo's publishing, working with Sega to release Tembo the Badass Elephant and self-publishing Giga Wrecker on PC. But it's certainly quality over quantity, so we're best waiting to see what Game Freak has in store. While we wait for more news on Town, what are your thoughts on the game?

Details may be minimal at this point (the game is still in development), but the battle system looks chock full of fun commands, and you can call upon additional villagers to help you out when the situation calls for it, according to the trailer.
