Park In-bee watches her shot during the first round of the KLPGA Tour's Jeju Samdasoo Masters at Ora Country Club on Jeju Island on August 10.

World No. 1 Park Sung Hyun and player-of-the-year race leader Ariya Jutanugarn will go head-to-head at the Evian Championship starting on Thursday, the last of the five majors on the LPGA this season. Last season, So Yeon Ryu eclipsed Park with not only her win at the ANA Inspiration but also her T3 finish behind Park at the U.S. Women's Open. Picking up three wins, one more than her total in 2017, was Park's main goal this season. This time, Park wants the award for herself.

South Korea's LG Electronics Inc. will join The Evian Championship, major tournament in continental Europe for female golfers, as an official partner for the second year to show off its premium LG Signature home appliances.

"I came pretty close to claiming the Annika Award two years (she won the 2016 Women's British Open) and it's pretty cool thing to win".

In 2016, Park finished runner-up in her Evian debut and backed that up with an opening round 63 the following year.

Sweden's Anna Nordqvist defends the title - and this will be the last of the Evian Championships in September.

Liverpool delivered best performance of season at Spurs - Jurgen Klopp
With the worldwide break over, Liverpool heads to Wembley Stadium on Saturday to face Tottenham in a Premier League match. Some fans, however, agree that the Reds could win this campaign if their focus was 100% on the domestic league.

The Evian Championship was designated the fifth women's Major in 2013, a decision some felt diluted the entire Major product.

Although there are now five major tournaments, the LPGA chose to continue recognizing four major victories as a Career Grand Slam so as to avoid retroactively stripping retired players of the title.

Last July, Park said, "the Evian Championship is like the last homework for me". She's focused on the task at hand, which means not only winning the season's final major but also the Rolex Annika Major Award. For the last two years, she has been unable to compete due to injuries.

She followed her British Open triumph by almost winning her first title in the United States. Most recently, Park finished tied for 30th at the Portland Classic on September 2.

"I'm glad to not have any injuries, but since I wasn't playing in tournaments every week, I feel like I'm missing something", Park said. With that mission accomplished, Park turned her focus to the season's closing stretch.

Both Park and Jutanugarn have enjoyed a victory apiece at a major this year. "I was so jealous when Ryu So-yeon won previous year".
