It is true that Real Madrid were unable to secure a victory against Athletic Club on Saturday night in the Estadio San Mames.

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos admitted frustration after their 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao.

Ramos has said that Bilbao deserve credit for their own performance, but the Spaniard was unhappy with his team's intensity during periods of the league affair.

"We knew we'd be playing at one the most hard fields, where the players press, but regardless of that they have a team who know their game very well, and we knew it was going to be a game with a lot of difficulty", Ramos told reporters.

West Ham's Manuel Pellegrini 'trusts' own ability despite four Premier League defeats
Asked if he knows the source of the leaks, Pellegrini said: "I don't have any idea, I'm not anxious about that". West Ham have picked up just one win from their last 15 away Premier League games played on Sunday (W1 D5 L9).

"In the first half we had more problems for lack of speed in our movements, but we improved in the second half. In the second half, we managed to break beyond that first line of pressure and were able to pick our passes better".

But you can learn some positive lessons from the point that Los Blancos picked up in Bilbao. A draw at a very hard ground, where other great teams will likely drop points.

Julen Lopetegui arrived at Real Madrid with a very clear intention: he wanted the team to have the ball. The fans here really get behind their team and, that aside, Athletic know exactly what their game is all about.

Eibar, one of the smallest teams in the top flight, took a shock lead with three minutes remaining at the Wanda Metropolitano when striker Sergi Enrich struck the ball in from close range after soft goalkeeping from Jan Oblak.
