Alongside the N700NC, the other headphones slated for U.S. release, the AKG Y500 and AKG Y100, are a pair of wireless on-ear and in-ear headphones, respectively. The AKGY100 and Y500 are already available for purchase in the United States via Samsung Store, Amazon, AKG Store, Sprint and U.S. Cellular for $100 and $150, respectively.

On the surface, there are lot of similarities between the AKG N700NC and WH-1000XM3: Not only are they wireless noise-cancelling headphones, but they both offer adaptive noise-cancellation, for example, as well as Talk Through modes that let you hear the outside world. This helps make the product ideal for traveling around, the company added.

Also, the AKG Y500 has an Auto Play / Pause feature that pauses content when the headphones are taken off and resumes play automatically when placed back over the ears. It functions as a pair of in-ear headphones connected together by a wire; on a single charge, the product can last for up to 8 hours.

The Y100, on the other hand, will go on sale for $99.95.
