The Philadelphia Eagles are really thin at receiver.

On Wednesday, Philadelphia announced that it has signed Jordan Matthews.

Matthews signed with the New England Patriots this off-season before the team cut him in training camp. Matthews, who spent the first three seasons of his career with the team, was signed because the team placed veteran receiver Mike Wallace on injured reserve.

But a CBS insider source confirmed to TMZ that the longtime host of Big Brother isn't going anywhere. Julie announced Tuesday she was leaving " The Talk ".

In his three previous seasons with the Eagles, Matthews had 225 catches for 2,673 yards and 19 touchdowns in 46 games.

Perhaps most importantly, he has good chemistry with quarterback Carson Wentz, who is returning to play this week after tearing his ACL last December. And even though Wallace had struggled to make an impact on offense before the injury took place, the Eagles receiver deserves some benefit of the doubt since the unit in general was struggling for the most part while dealing with all of these key injuries.
