A new casting announcement for this season's Arrowverse crossover reveals the heroes of The CW will pay a visit to Gotham City.

Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane just added a medical menace to its staff: Jeremy Davies will portray the nefarious Dr. John Deegan in The CW's upcoming DC crossover event that will draw Green Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl to Gotham City.

Although Gotham - Batman's stomping grounds - has been referenced within the Arrowverse shows, it has so far yet to be featured. Fans are still left to wonder whether this is the Gotham on Earth One, home of Green Arrow and The Flash, or Earth-38, inhabited by Supergirl.

Jets vs. Browns: Final Week 3 injury and weather report
In his first two games with the team, the fifth-year pro has totaled 12 receptions for 175 yards, including six first downs. Now laying claim an 0-1-1 record on the season, the Browns are looking to secure their first victory since the 2016 season.

Details on the upcoming Arrowverse crossover are now unknown, though the event will mark the introduction of Roby Rose as Batwoman and the first appearance of Gotham City in the CW superhero universe. Up until now, all we knew was that it would involve Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl, but not Legends Tomorrow; that it would introduce Ruby Rose's Batwoman, Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch), and Nora Fries (Cassandra Jean Amell); and that it would feature an appearance from Tyler Hoechlin as Superman.

In addition to his run as Lost's Dr. Daniel Faraday, Davies' previous TV credits include Justified, Sleepy Hollow, Hannibal, Constantine and an episode of American Gods.

The three-night Arrowverse crossover kicks off Sunday, Dec. 9 with The Flash followed by Monday, Dec. 10 with Arrow, and concludes Tuesday, Dec. 11 with Supergirl.
