The company, Ooni, will pay the lucky workers up to $1,000 a day to create pizzas with its portable, wood-fired ovens, according to Thrillist.

The video should detail why you are suited for the role and show off some of your pizza making skills.

Pizza aficionados, take note: one company is hiring people to taste-test pizza - and they'll pay up to $1,000 a day! "Maybe you're a chef, a food stylist, a pizzaiolo, or simply a super passionate home cook". "These roles will be a unique mix of recipe development, product testing and brand ambassadorship - pizza, pizza, and more pizza!" The ovens heat up to 932 degrees in 20 minutes or less. "You can be based anywhere in the world - if you're hired, we'll send one of our pizza ovens direct to you so you can start cooking straight away".

Emirates and Etihad Airways deny takeover plan
However, Emirates chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed al-Maktoum ruled out a merger in May this year. Etihad has been shrinking, cutting routes like Abu Dhabi to Dallas/Fort Worth.

Meanwhile, the $1,000 a day rate would be for someone with experience in pizza-making and adept at filming their own content.

Ooni co-founder Darina Garland told CNBC that the $1,000-a-day paycheck will go to candidates who cannot only make outstanding pizza, but have an added skill, such as creating videos or experience performing demonstrations for large crowds.

Candidates can apply through October 14 by sending Ooni a 60-second video that demonstrates their pizza prowess.
