OnePlus 6 users in India get Android 9.0 Pie update

OnePlus says the update features brand new UI for Android P and also comes with Android P Gesture Navigation.

In order to check if Android Pie-based OxygenOS 9.0 has arrived for your OnePlus 6 smartphone, go to Settings System Updates Check for updates.

OnePlus had been testing Android 9.0 Pie-based OxygenOS 9.0 in beta with select OnePlus 6 users and it seems to have ironed out any kinks and bugs before a wider rollout. OnePlus has added new Gaming mode 3.0 with the support of test notification mode and notification for 3rd party calls. Also, users will not be able to get the update, as OnePlus is randomly sending the update to the users. The new update brings several improvements and new features with the new OxygenOS 9.0.

Going by the strategy of the company, its seems that OnePlus will most likely discontinue the OnePlus 6 soon after the launch of the upcoming OnePlus 6T.
