Bill Cosby Might Be In Prison On Monday

Cosby is legally blind and uses a cane, something his lawyers are certain to point out along with his achievements and philanthropy.

Pennsylvania's sex-offender board has examined Cosby and recommended he be deemed a predator, concluding that he has a mental defect or personality disorder that makes him prone to criminal behavior.

Cosby faces up to 10 years in prison for each of the three counts against him - but the judge could impose a longer or shorter sentence.

Following the popularity of the video, women came out of the woodwork to accuse Mr. Cosby of many crimes, ranging from sexual harassment, assault, all the way to drugging and raping. However, state sentencing guidelines suggest about one to four years. Cosby's wife, Camille, also filed an ethics complaint against the judge.

In a ruling last week, O'Neill refused to step down, calling the claim of bias "unsubstantiated" and "meritless". But he says he won't let other accusers take the stand.

In a prepared statement, Camille Cosby announced she'd brought on Brian W. Perry "to facilitate my efforts to uncover the truth". But the defense argued that "allegations of misconduct that are more than 20 years old" were not relevant to protecting the public "from an 81-year-old unsighted man".

The court documents, obtained by the site, however, did specify that the prosecutor's request to include additional women who did not testify at the trial was denied.

The disgraced entertainer has been under house arrest since his conviction.

Cosby's legal team is appealing the verdict and if he is allowed to be released while fighting for an appeal, he will more than likely never be in prison.
