In the pair of videos tweeted by "Smash Racism DC", protesters are seen chanting, "We believe survivors" in support of Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez, who have brought decades-old allegations of sexual misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

"Do you believe survivors?" she asks.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and his wife were shouted out of a Washington restaurant Monday evening by protesters shouting down his relationship with Kavanaugh. "I would love to know what your vote is going to be tonight", the protester asks the Texas senator.

In the video several protesters scream "we believe survivors!" as Cruz attempts to leave the restaurant.

One female protestor is heard telling the Texas senator, "Beto is way hotter than you".

Trump tariffs: Higher prices possible for these products
The pair of powerhouse economies have already implemented tariffs on $50 billion worth of one another's exports. The latest escalation in the US-China trade war came after China cancelled further trade talks with Washington.

Cruz says, "God bless you", before asking them to let his wife through and leaving the restaurant with the assistance of the staff at the restaurant.

In another video posted to the social media account, a protester accosts Cruz about his friendship with Brett Kavanaugh.

And as soon as they left the restaurant, the protestors cheered, but were immediately told to leave by the establishment. "Cancel Kavanaugh for women's rights".

Cruz is in a hard general election match-up with Democrat Beto O'Rourke, and the race was just moved to a "toss up" after new polling was revealed.
