Meghan and Harry are due to tour Australia, Tonga, Fiji and New Zealand in October and the Duchess will be shown art from the four countries during her exhibition viewing.

To start, the Duchess of Cambridge performed her royal duties at a formal charity dinner, six months after she tied the knot to Prince William in 2011.

The Duchess of Sussex, 37, stopped by London's Royal Academy of Arts on Tuesday for the opening of the new "Oceania" art exhibit.

While given a tour of the exhibit, Meghan viewed numerous 200 artefacts on show at the exhibition and told New Zealand video artist Lisa Reihani "It's so special".

She chose a long-sleeve dress with a front split, by designer favourite Givenchy, teamed with a matching jewel-topped clutch bag and Aquazurra Deneuve bow pumps.

She was joined at the launch by Prince Harry and her mother Doria Ragland. "I'm so privileged to know you".
