Nintendo made good on their promise to add more games to the Switch Online's NES app, as NES Open Tournament Golf, Solomon's Key, and Super Dodge Ball graced the system this week. As the name suggests, it's essentially a Netflix-style library of classic NES games you can play that changes over time.

This isn't just any ol' version of The Legend of Zelda, though. Living the life of luxury!', the game acts as a "souped-up version of The Legend of Zelda", giving players access to pretty much everything from the start. You'll begin with all equipment, incluing your White Sword, the Magical Shield, the Blue Ring, and even the Power Bracelet. Interestingly, beating the game in this way will unlock a "more hard version" called Second Quest.

Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL launch event 2018
The Pixel 3 is supposedly a 5.5in device with a 2:1 display , while the Pixel 3 XL is a 6.7in beast with a large notch. There have been so many leaks of Google's hardware over the last month or so that we know most of what's coming.

This launch may have been a surprise but Nintendo has previously experimented with altering original titles in the likes NES Remix, so it'll be interesting to see if this approach is applied to other titles in the company's back catalogue.

The Legend of Zelda is now available for download on the Switch, though you'll need a Switch Online subscription to get access to it. We know that ROM hacks have enormous potential thanks to the efforts of the fans over the years - so this could be a great way to make classics accessible or simply more fresh.
