Actor Alec Baldwin has been lauded for skewering President Donald Trump in recurring appearances on Saturday Night Live (he just recently was nominated for another Emmy for the role, after winning in 2017), but in a new interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Baldwin comes off as nearly Trumpian himself.

'To me, he's like Rolfe in The Sound of Music, ' says Baldwin of the Trump supporter. "It's either, "Alec Baldwin, I think you're a philanthropic, wonderful citizen of the community, whatever talent you have" or 'Alec Baldwin, you're just an asshole.' And it's never going to change".

British couple among six killed in Majorca flash floods
Two British nationals are among the victims of a devastating flood that hit the popular tourist island of Majorca overnight. The deputy mayor of the town, Antonia Bauza, confirmed to Cadena SER radio that two others killed in the area were locals.

"She goes, 'Alec, they called me and they said that a wardrobe person said you sexually molested me and that you constantly had me sitting on your lap and they asked me for a comment, '" Baldwin recalled to the magazine. "But then I'll say, 'Oh, I don't want to do it anymore, ' and people will go, 'Don't you dare give that up, we need you.' Like I've gotten people through something in our nation's history". "But what worries me is that this is a fire that needs constant kindling". He also referred to Rose McGowan, whom he'd like to have as a guest on his new show, as a "tragic front person" for the #MeToo cause. The "30 Rock" actor found himself in the middle of a media frenzy in 2007 after leaving a freaky voicemail on his then-11-year-old daughter Ireland's phone in which he called her a "rude, thoughtless, little pig". "I get it a lot online".

"Sometimes you seem like an angry guy", Colbert told Baldwin during the TV spot. "I mean, what's worse in this life than being misunderstood?" "I thought to myself, 'Oh no, oh no, let's not get into psychoanalyzing me, because I don't think you're qualified, '" Baldwin tells THR. "What made you angry?" From how his brothers feel about Donald Trump to how black people feel about him portraying Donald Trump. "'Black people love me.' Dude, do you listen to yourself?" Alec ruins everything by opening his mouth.
