Jadon Sancho decided that his opportunities at Manchester City would be limited, with Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane ahead of him in the pecking order, so he chose to move on, signing for Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho was perhaps the most eye-catching inclusion when Southgate named his squad.

Sancho, who left Manchester City's youth academy for the Bundesliga side previous year, has had a meteoric rise to stardom, which was propelled to a new level after his call-up to England's senior squad.

If Sancho does make his debut in Croatia on Friday, which he called "a dream come true - I can't think of anything better", it will be in an empty stadium.

Scott also reported that 2,500 National Guard troops were now active in the state, along with 350 State Troopers backing them up. That's just 2 miles per hour away from officially being a Category 5 hurricane . "I'm anxious about my daughter and grandbaby".

"I was a bit surprised, to be fair, because, obviously, I'm so young so I have still got a lot to learn", he explained.

Sancho is in line to make his global bow after the teenager earned a place in Gareth Southgate's England squad for upcoming matches against Croatia and Spain. "Obviously I have got to say thank you to the (Dortmund) manager (Lucien Favre) for playing me, trusting and believing in me", he added. In response, Sancho failed to turn up for training, eventually sealing his move to the Bundesliga weeks later. Because he had been part of their academy, The Hornets received 10% of the fee Dortmund paid to sign him from City last summer. If you're ready to play overseas and you believe in yourself, why not?

Manchester United (of course) are one of those reportedly keeping tabs on Sancho's progress, as are the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea. I miss them a lot.

"That's. I don't know. I don't know what to say to that", he said, smiling. "Later on in my career you never know what can happen, so I just have to wait and see".
