Although it's been a very rough few years for DC Comics' characters on film, the same can not be said about it's television shows. It's really easy to see how the overall Secret Six idea could translate into CBS' plug-and-play procedural formula, and we wouldn't expect to see anyone in costume on this show, let alone for it to exist as part of any now existing shared DC TV universe (the Multiverse, however, is another story entirely). "Gotham" is also prepping its last season on Fox, while Syfy airs the Superman prequel series "Krypton".

CBS is developing a drama series based on the DC Comics property "Secret Six", Variety has learned.

There's a Secret Six TV series in the works.

The show would follow "six morally ambiguous strangers, each with their own unique specialties and secret pasts", who are assembled by a mysterious individual that blackmails them into targeting corrupt politicians and corporations.

The complaint submitted also mentions how Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers attacked her vehicle and vandalized it. She was even threatened by some goons when the shooting was stalled for hours as she refused to come of her vanity van.

Various DC Comics characters have been members of the Secret Six over the years, including Bane, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor, the Mad Hatter, and the Penguin. No word yet on which characters the writers have chosen to work with.

Rick Muirragui will write the series and serve as executive producer along with Bill Lawrence and Jeff Ingold who will executive produce through Doozer Productions under Warner Bros.

No timeframe for Secret Six was reported. Let us know in the comment section below!

The next DC show to premiere this week will be Titans on October 12th, only on the DC Universe's streaming service. Just hit the buttons on the top of this page.
