Kanye West: Trump is on a 'hero's journey' for America

Rapper Kanye West had a few things to say when he stopped by the White House for a visit with President Donald Trump Thursday. "Only after 2024", West added.

According to reports, Ye and Recording Academy president Neil Portnow will be in attendance when Trump sign the Music Modernization Act at the White House.

Asked if he would consider campaigning with the rapper, Trump said, "I could see it. That was quite something".

"A liberal will try to control a black person through the concept of racism because they know that we are very proud emotional people", West said. The president had just supported stop-and-frisk Monday in a speech to police chiefs, saying "it works".

Trump calls West a longtime friend. The two also flirted with the possibility of West succeeding Trump after his second term as president, and it concluded with them hugging it out.

Kanye West is in the house - the White House, to be precise. In between cursing and slamming his hand on the desk of the Oval Office, he shared how the United States can thrive by using only American-made material and how his home city of Chicago can serve as the country's workplace.
