Matthew McConaughey to star in Guy Ritchie’s next

Matthew McConaughey is all set to feature in director Guy Ritchie's "Toff Guys".

"McConaughey as the inside outsider with Henry and Kate will make for a thrilling Guy Ritchie ride", Miramax CEO Bill Block said in a statement. The movie concerns the collision of old-money European wealth and the modern marijuana industrial complex.

The casting, which Deadline confirmed Wednesday, comes after Miramax Films closed a $30 million-plus world rights deal and committed to finance the pic in May ahead of the Cannes market.

Ritchie is now in post-production on the live-action adaptation of Disney's Aladdin starring Billy Magnussen, Will Smith, and Naomi Scott.

Beckinsale is prepping to shoot TV series The Widow, while Henry Golding can now be seen in Paul Feig's A Simple Favor alongside Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick. Golding is repped by Paradigm and Megan Silverman Management.
