In addition to its second generation gaming smartphone, Razer is also announcing the expansion of its Blade 15 line. Razer isn't gimping the hardware for the new price point, either.

On a pleasantly surprising note, this model starts with the very same Intel Core i7-8750H processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics as the now advanced version - for a cool 300 bucks (or quid) off - and will employ the same basic, 60Hz Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) display and 16GB of DDR4 memory. It's called the Razer Blade Base Model, with the other variants henceforth being known as the Advanced Models.

If you couldn't tell from its name, the Razer Blade 15 Dual Storage edition comes with two drives, a smaller SSD for performance and a larger hard drive for capacity. The Blade 15 Dual Storage edition is a little bit thicker than the earlier Blade 15 models because of this additional 2.5-inch drive, but Razer took advantage of the extra space by adding in a gigabit Ethernet port to improve connectivity.

Ancient Mount Vesuvius Eruption Made Skulls Explode, Vaporized Body Fluids
According to Science Alert, Vesuvius is still an active volcano and there are now close to three million people living nearby. However, a new study revealed that for some victims, their skulls exploded and bodily fluids vaporized.

The dual storage option is new to these latest iterations. You do have to pay for the privilege of the new design though, with even the cheapest costing as much as $2,200. In contrast, the single-storage model can illuminate every key in a different color, but doesn't back light the tiny function symbols on each key.

There's a new color option, too. The company has also announced the launch of the new Razer Blade 15 Mercury White Limited Edition variant that carries forward specifications and features of the original model but comes with a new matte white finish with black USB ports.

"With the Razer Blade 15 we created the world's smallest 15.6-inch gaming laptop and set a new precedent for the ideal mobile gaming experience". Wider availability to European and Asia-Pacific markets will commence from November 2018, via the same channels. Razer will offer the Mercury White model sometime in the fourth quarter in the U.S. and Canada, and at selected retailers in China. "We listened to feedback from our fans and we have expanded on that experience with a new colour option, Ethernet capability, more storage configurations, and a more affordable price".
