Samsung has announced its new Galaxy A9 handset, which includes a quadruple camera system capable of nearly every smartphone photography trick in the book. Numbers are not everything, however, so let us dive a bit further into the cameras and how the magic happens.

According to Blass, the first rear camera has an ultra wide 8MP sensor, f/2.4 aperture and 120-degree field of view.

There's not long to go now before the official unveiling of the Galaxy A9 - what else do you reckon it'll have in store?

Battery: The Galaxy A9 (2018) will house a 3,800mAh battery with fast charge support via USB Type-C.

Kim Kardashian slams sisters' 'disgusting' fashion choices
In this 37-year-old Kim Kardashian got into an altercation and her sister 39-year-old Courtney and 34-year-old Chloe. Like you don't look anything innovative. 'Well, you look like you just won the Tour de France, ' giggled Kourtney.

Weve had megahertz wars, megapixel wars and now camera count wars. Unlike the recently launched Galaxy A7, the new Galaxy A9 still sports a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy A9 (2018) also packs decent mid-range hardware- Snapdragon 660 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, Super AMOLED display and a massive 3800mAh battery.

Internal storage: Both the RAM options will come with 128GB of internal storage. The South Korean company has also included some of its on apps such as Samsung Pay, Bixby Assistant and Health.

The new Galaxy A9 reflects Samsung's focus on offering unique and challenging mid-range smartphones to take on the competition. Android 9 Pie-based Experience UI is in development, and it will be coming to the company's flagship phones soon, and the Galaxy A9 (2018) will receive it at some point as well, hopefully before the end of the year, but who knows. There is no doubt that there is the physical limitation to fit in a mechanical zoom lens in such a tiny space to offer multiple focal lengths so the next best thing is to just add more cameras with lenses for different focal lengths.

Samsung hasn't really revealed the official price of the Galaxy A9 (2018). The company's United Kingdom branch did tell us that the device will hit the United Kingdom in November, and that it will cost £549, but we do not have any specific info for other markets. Instead it says that the device will be available in select markets starting November.
