Trump lunches with Kanye West, will talk justice reform

After it was confirmed earlier this week that Kanye West was expected to meet with President Trump today, October 11, Variety reports that he'll also be present for the signing of the Music Modernization Act.

A senior White House official told Politico that officials planned "to look into" Fox News deciding to cut away from presidential rallies, suggesting that Bill Shine, the White House communications director and former Fox News president, would get in touch with his former colleagues.

The two were to sit down for a roasted chicken lunch in the private dining room off the Oval Office, along with Hall of Fame NFL running back Jim Brown, as well as Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner.

In June, Trump commuted the life sentence of a woman for a first-time drug offense whose cause was taken up by celebrity Kanye West's wife, Kim Kardashian West. Alice Marie Johnson, a 63-year-old from Tennessee, had served more than 20 years in prison on drug conspiracy and money laundering charges. "I could see it".
