The San Francisco 49ers apologized for omitting Colin Kaepernick from a photo gallery of the team's previous games against the Green Bay Packers.

The gallery was billed by the team as the "top moments between the 49ers and Packers since 1950". "Obviously, from our part, a glaring omission". Even without him on the roster, the 49ers did include pictures of Kaepernick in 2017 photo galleries, specifically seven throwback versions, a team spokesman noted.

"We have fond memories of those games and that should have been displayed on our website", the 49ers statement said, according to ESPN.

Pro Football Talk reports the gallery captures 48 of the greatest moments in the 49ers' history against the Packers but failed to mention three outstanding performances by Kaepernick during playing time.

Lynch reiterated that stance in his radio interview Friday morning: "From ownership on down, we've got so much respect for his contributions to this franchise".

After ceding two of the toss-ups to Republicans since the Kavanaugh circus a few weeks ago, RCP has now given the GOP one more. She may be the most vulnerable Democrat running.

The 49ers were on Kaepernick's side when he initially began kneeling, and even matched Kaepernick's $1 million in charitable donations to social justice programs.

Kaepernick set an National Football League record for quarterbacks by rushing for 181 yards in a playoff win against Green Bay on January 12, 2013, threw for 413 yards in a season-opening win against the Packers in 2013, and led a winning drive to win a playoff game in Green Bay on January 5, 2014.

Kaepernick led the California team to playoff victories over Green Bay after the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Kaepernick also threw for over 400 yards during a regular-season game against the Packers. They have made no attempts to re-sign Kaepernick, and coach Kyle Shanahan remained steadfast in that even after Jimmy Garoppolo sustained a season-ending knee injury September 23. 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said last month that the team would not consider re-signing him, as he does not fit "with the style of offense that we wanted to go with".

"I just learned about it a couple of minutes ago", Lynch said on the "Murph & Mac" show.

". C.J. (Beathard) is our guy and we have Nick Mullens backing him up".
