Wade Miley got the start for the Brewers, going 4.2 innings while walking one, striking out two and allowing just three hits.

With a chance to end it, Milwaukee displayed the full variety of talents that allowed the Brewers to overcome a six-game deficit in the NL Central in little more than the season's final month.

The Brewers got a stellar performance from some unlikely heroes Sunday afternoon. In order to get to where they are at, Milwaukee has needed every single one of their victories. Travis Shaw then grounded into a fielder's choice at second to score Yelich. By Sept. 30, the Brewers had caught the Cubs and then won a tiebreaker game at Wrigley Field on October 1.

The road to the World Series runs through Milwaukee.

The Rockies crashed out of the NLDS having mustered just two runs in three games against the Brewers - both in a 3-2 loss in Game 1. Oberg was standing on the rubber throwing the ball in the air and catching it, except Oberg failed at the catching part.

The Braves are expected to start RHP Mike Foltynewicz, who gave up four runs and three hits in two innings in Thursday night's 6-0 Game 1 loss. Leading off the 9th, light-hitting shortstop Jose Arcia and outfielder Keon Broxton delivered back-to-back coups de grace, one to left and one to right.

The Brew Crew now rides an 11-game winning streak into the National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers (92-71), with the victor of the best-of-seven series advancing to the World Series to face either the Houston Astros or the Boston Red Sox.

"We just like the matchup", Brewers manager Craig Counsell said of Gonzalez.

They then blew that big lead, but first baseman Freddie Freeman hit a tie-breaking home run in the sixth and Atlanta never looked back.

"Mr.Baseball" has been a play-by-play announcer with the Brewers since 1971 and famously played the role of witty, wise-cracking broadcaster Harry Doyle in the film 'Major League'. In 41 postseason innings, they only scored in three of them (one run in an inning twice, two runs in an inning once, 38 scoreless innings).
