Even though Destiny 2: Forsaken is a lot of fun to play, some found it odd that the expansion didn't include Curse of Osiris and Warmind, the first two add-on packs for Destiny 2 that released earlier this year.

Will you be picking up Forsaken now that it bundles the previous two expansions?

For anyone who has played Destiny 2: Forsaken prior to October 16, the Veterans of the Hunt Bundle will be awarded as a thank you for being part of the "vanguard".

So on the face of it, this is pretty great news - one of the few criticisms made of Forsaken is that it was too expensive to buy all the required content. Those who did not, and that includes everyone who got the game on PlayStation Plus last month, had to buy the year one packs and then put down another wodge of cash for Forsaken.

It was announced today that beginning next week on October 16, all purchases of Destiny 2: Forsaken will now also give you Curse of Osiris and Warmind as well. The set includes an emblem, a shader, two exotic emotes, and some consumables. Bungie implies the cosmetics are for those at risk of buyers' remorse: "for you, and only the players like you, we have a collection of veterans' rewards as an expression of our appreciation for being on the frontlines".
