Vissel Kobe have handed down a one-month ban to Shunki Takahashi for leaking team news involving Andres Iniesta.

The club said Shunki Takahashi had told a friend via instant messaging that Iniesta, who joined in May, would not appear against Urawa Reds on September 23 due to injury.

Catalan newspaper Sport say the 28-year old messaged a friend to inform him that Iniesta wasn't playing after he asked the question.

After being told the news, the friend then took to Twitter to blurt the exclusive all over social media allowing local media to pick up the news of Iniesta's absence.

Rs 3,500 tickets have been reduced to Rs 2,500 and those for Rs 2,500 will be available for Rs 2,000. Other prices are Rs. 1250, Rs. 1750, Rs. 2000, Rs. 2500, Rs. 4000 and Rs. 4500 respectively.

Vissel found the 28-year-old to be in breach of club and league rules and made a decision to punish him with a month-long suspension, which began on September 24.

"We sincerely apologise to supporters and everyone concerned for causing inconvenience and worry", the Japanese club said in a statement on its website on Friday.

Iniesta signed for Vissel back in May, ending his glittering stint with his beloved Barcelona and making his debut in new colours in July.

Iniesta's arrival in Japan has not proven enough to elevate Vissel Kobe in the J-League, as they sit in 11th place with just five games remaining.
