Walsh followed suit, issuing a statement that said: "In light of the story in today's newspaper I would like to offer my honest apologies for my actions".

Seann's now-ex, Rebecca Humphries, was left mightily unimpressed at the interview, showing her upset by "liking" a number of disparaging tweets about his apology.

After the incriminating pictures surfaced online, Katya's husband Neil took to Instagram to post a supportive video of his wife with the Mock the Week star.

The actress said the comedian's "actions over the last three weeks had led to believe something inappropriate was going on" but that he denied it, repeatedly calling her "psycho/nuts/mental".
