"He's Kentucky tough", Trump declared.

Of Kavanaugh, who was sworn in to the nation's highest court last weekend, Trump said that "never has a man been treated so badly".

"There's nobody tougher. There's nobody smarter".

The rally is slated to begin at 7 p.m. ET, at Eastern Kentucky University's Alumni Coliseum.

The U.S. has "the dumbest immigration laws in the world", Trump said, adding that "we're getting them changed".

Protesters swarmed Senate office buildings and hundreds were arrested in a futile attempt to intimidate a handful of holdout senators into voting against confirming Kavanaugh.

During a campaign rally in Richmond, Kentucky, Saturday night, President Trump spoke before a crown in support of Republican Rep. Andy Barr and slammed Democrats, at one point accusing the party of being "totally consumed by their chilling lust for power". Trump has taken to referring to Democrats who opposed Kavanaugh as an angry "mob".

Morrison to fast-track company tax cuts
But after dumping a widely unpopular plan to cut all corporate taxes by 2.5 per cent, Mr Morrison said his government will now accelerate its plan.

"The only reason to vote Democrat is if you're exhausted of winning", he said.

Democrats are focusing on the seat in their drive to win back control of the House. Former Vice President Joe Biden campaigned for McGrath on Friday night. Barr said a vote for his opponent, would be a vote for Nancy Pelosi's liberal agenda.

"Heading to the Great State of Kentucky - Big Rally for Congressman Andy Barr - Fantastic guy, need his vote for MAGA!"

He again panned journalists as the "fake news media" and suggested he could live without their attention.

Trump's rally comes just one day after he was stumping in OH and in the same week he hosted Kanye West in the Oval Office and held a third rally in Pennsylvania.

Trump campaigned Friday night for Ohio's gubernatorial and congressional candidates.

The rally in the Bluegrass State is Trump's fourth this week.
