In all, these projects bring more than 1,700 new hotel rooms and proposed Disney Vacation Club villas to Walt Disney World over the next four years.

The yet-to-be-named mixed-use property, set to be located on Bay Lake between the Wilderness Lodge and the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground at Disney's Orlando resort, will include over 900 new hotel rooms and Disney Vacation Club villas.

The new resort has not yet received a name but it will indeed be the 16th Disney Vacation Club property and build on the flexibility and value of a DVC membership.

The Florida-based theme park resort said Thursday that the as-yet-unnamed resort will open in 2022. Walt Disney Imagineering is reinvigorating the resort with fresh storytelling and functional enhancements that will make a dramatic impact on the experience for guests. Support towers have been popping up across Walt Disney World Resort (as we've shown you for months now) and will soon be connected with a series of reinforced cables to carry guests in themed gondolas. On the rooftop, guests can dine at a specialty table-service restaurant with panoramic views. The existing 1,800 guest rooms have all been fully updated with new fixtures, furnishings and a color palette that ties the entire resort together.

Yemeni asylum seekers granted humanitarian stay permits
Last month, South Korea's government gave 23 residence permits, mostly families with children or pregnant women. According to the Blue House, the global average refugee protection rate is 38 percent.

With plans for approximately 300 units across a variety of accommodation types, this property will connect to Disney's Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at Epcot via the Disney Skyliner.

In addition, the immersive "Star Wars"-inspired resort will connect to the upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios". New walkways will stretch across the lake, allowing quick and convenient passage to and from all areas of the resort.
