Sony Bend's PS4 post-apocalyptic zombie survival title Days Gone has been delayed once again. Sony Worldwide Studios and Bend Studio explained that they wanted to move it out of the crowded February release window, and the move allows them some extra time to add a little bit more polish to the game.

While Days Gone's most recent release date announcement was that it would arrive in February 2019, that has just been pushed back. With general hype levels not almost as high for Days Gone as past PS4 exclusives-like God of War, Detroit: Become Human, or Spider-Man-it makes sense that Sony would want to move the game to a less crowded release window to allow it to breathe.

It seems like its really been quite some time since we first heard about post-apocalyptic biker title Days Gone, which is now in development for PS4 over at Bend Studios. Traversing harsh landscapes on their drifter bike, players must fight for resources as they attempt to survive broken roads, unpredictable weather, attacks from other human factions, infected wildlife and roaming Freakers - a brutal, dynamic world that is risky both day and night.

"The studios are hard at work polishing up these epic PS4 games, but we aren't yet ready to share a release timeframe".

Bayern Munich call media briefing amid Niko Kovac pressure
Hoeness echoed Rummenigge's sentiments, saying: "The approach of the press is a joke!" Lastly it was Salihamidzic's turn. After manager Niko Kovac had spoken, chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and president Uli Hoeness came forward.

Being developed exclusively for PS4, Days Gone has been on the burner since 2015, originally scheduled for launch this year.

Even with the date, Days Gone is a new IP for Sony and it's one that doesn't have as much buzz around it or IP clout as this year's exclusives God of War and Spider-Man.

The delayed release date should also give PS4 owners enough time to polish off the likes of Devil May Cry 5, The Division 2 and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Are you disappointed that Days Gone has slipped to April 2019, or is it a bit of a relief?
