Vidal fined 800000 euros for Munich nightclub fight

The Chilean moved from Bayern Munich over the summer, joining the Catalan side on a three-year deal, but has since struggled for playing time.

Chile's midfielder was part of a fracas which saw a fight break out in a German bar and a bottle of vodka was smashed over the head of a victim.

The Munich district court fined the Chile worldwide based on 80 days worth of wages.

Their altercation escalated, and at one point she was locked in their bedroom and he broke down the door to get in. The first flick also became attached to one of Michael Jackson 's hit songs from the '90s, "Will You Be There".

Vidal and his brother were charged because they attacked another man at the nightclub and the act was recorded on camera, due to which they were both found guilty.

After first visiting Oktoberfest, Vidal and company settled in at the VIP Lounge of the Crown's Club, a popular hip-hop club in Munich. Vidal's half sibling Sandrino, 25, was fined 18,000 euros, based on 120 days salary at 150 euros per day - a higher penalty because he also threw a glass during the incident. Vidal was not capable of personally seem in courtroom, as is the nationwide group of Chile in Mexico, so the decision Vidal was rendered in absentia. But he has been ordered to pay in the fine in €10,000 instalments over 80 days.
