People say still now Jose Mourinho "parks the bus".

Mourinho said afterwards that he accepted Ianni's apology in the aftermath.

Here's how and when to watch Chelsea versus Manchester United online.

Mourinho stayed in his seat but, after Ianni ran past him, reacted to something the Italian said and had to be restrained.

He said: "I'm not annoyed with anything".

Ianni forms part of Sarri's 10-man strong backroom staff, along with club legend Gianfranco Zola, one of two assistant first-team coaches.

"And after that his assistant came to me in Sarri's office, and apologised to me". I have made a lot of mistakes in my career, especially when I was young like him. They didn't see it coming.

"We are in good form, not just myself but the whole team", he added. "Normally when I am losing I never get six minutes. Now everything is finished".

After the final whistle Mourinho gestured towards the Chelsea fans with three fingers, in reference to the three Premier League titles he won at Stamford Bridge. However, it's the same back four that has started every game for Chelsea in the Premier League this season. "But that is not up to me". "I have a certain level of education, socially and in sport, and what I did here today, I will do one day in Madrid, Porto, Milan, I will try to behave the same way, but then the reaction of the fans is up to them, not up to me".

Hazard says Chelsea are in the right shape to face Manchester United on Saturday. We are not organised like this to play the long ball.

Chelsea vs. Manchester United - Football Match Report
Obviously, they are winning, they have one character you can not miss in Eden Hazard. In any case, United's manager was not in a mood to prolong the argument.

"We left the selection until a couple of days ago", Mourinho told Sky Sports.

This was, in the second half at least, much more like it from United, as Anthony Martial proved his quality, Juan Mata pulled the strings and Paul Pogba strived to make amends for his awful switch-off at Willian's corner that allowed Antonio Rudiger a free header for Chelsea's first goal.

Romelu Lukaku performed like a world-class centre-forward in the second half, too.

Manchester City and Liverpool are two points clear of Chelsea, who escaped with their unbeaten record intact, and Tottenham Hotspur, who earned a hard-fought 1-0 win at West Ham United courtesy of Erik Lamela's deft header just before halftime.

But once again, when the dust settled, the story was all about Mourinho.

Mourinho conceded that he was upset at the way in which Ianni celebrated in front of him.

He also didn't need to hit back at the Chelsea fans, but when you throw away three points you so desperately want with nearly the last kick of the game, it would be testing the resolve of anyone, never mind someone as emotional as Mourinho.

Security from both sides pushed their way in and at one point Mourinho was temporarily immobilised by the bear-hug of one of Chelsea's biggest matchday stewards.

Defensive calamities at the back cost United the game, which is a shame given their resilience throughout the majority of this match. That will have to wait for now, though.
