'No Free to Play in 2018'

Although most Fortnite fans enjoy playing the battle royale version of the game, Save the World is still a popular mode that's "grown consistently" since it was released in July 2017. Now Epic has officially pushed Save the World's full release to 2019.

Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnite's free-to-play launch won't be happening in 2018 after all. They've delayed Fortnite: Save The World's F2P launch as they want more time to make sure it's proper good and stable for the hordes of potential players expected to flood in when it switches.

The only information we've collected from this page is that the tagline of the event is "Darkness has risen..." and that "Spooky rewards await those who complete the new Fortnitemares challenges".
