Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Listing Just a Placeholder

The listing is likely just a shell placeholder, and has been updated to disallow pre-orders (the original let users pre-order the PC version) and any mention of a placeholder 2019 release has been scrubbed.

Taking the time to preload Red Dead Redemption 2 will allow players to avoid unnecessary wait times once the game officially unlocks on October 26. Throughout these past two years, Rockstar fans who claim PC as their primary gaming platform have been hoping that the company would announce a PC version of RDR 2, but with the Xbox One and PS4 launches practically staring us in the face, such an announcement is nowhere to be seen.

Red Dead Redemption 2 comes out on October 26th, and numerous people buying it will head to GameStop to pick up their physical copies or will instead buy it online.

Just wondering, and actually curious, if anyone who owns a Nintendo Switch or is planning on buying one if they would love to see Rockstar and Nintendo work out a deal to see if an exclusive Grand Theft Auto title could be developed for the Nintendo Switch, specifically?
