‘Pokémon: "Let’s Go" and Tamagotchi Collaboration Leaked

First reported by Serebii, this possible leak is entirely unconfirmed, but would coincide with the upcoming Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee games that will hit stores on November 16.

Serebii.net is reporting that Japanese image boards have lit up with discussion surrounding this advertising copy featuring an Eevee-themed Tamagotchi. It comes in a brown "Daisuki Eevee" version that has an Eevee on it and a pink "Colorful Friends" version that has images of its evolutions. Depending on how you treat Eevee, you'll end up with one of its various evolutionary forms. There are also different Kinds of Eevee, such as the Team Rocket Eevee and Ditto Eevee.

Tamagotchi's were a virtual toy pet from the '90s that made a resurgence in 2017 for their 20th anniversary.

It also connects with the 7Rewards loyalty program, so customers can find out about deals and promotions. Customers must be within the geo-fenced area around the pilot stores for the feature to appear.

Whether or not this leak is true remains to be seen but it would coincide with the Eevee fever that has been rampant leading up to the release of Pokemon Let's Go.

If the Eevee Pokemon Tamagotchi does turn out to be real, it's best to keep in mind that many details may change.

The upcoming "Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!" and "Let's Go, Eevee!" games could be seeing a collaboration with the Tamagotchi digital pet in Japan, according to what appears to be leaked images.
