PUBG first hit Xbox One on December 12 as part of the console's Game Preview program.

PS4 players will be getting their hands on PUBG sooner than expected however, as soon as December 2018.

The other game Xbox One users can download on the house is Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, the latest game in the long-running series from Konami.

The full release on Xbox One also carried the label "console launch exclusive", which further points to a release on PS4 at some point. PUBG's PC player numbers have dropped quite a bit, with most players now seemingly Chinese mobile ones.
