Oh, just the fact that the game has sold boatloads of copies in just eight days.

While we may not end up seeing GTA 6 hit stores until as late as 2022 - giving the next generation of consoles a couple of years to build a market - Rockstar's latest does already give fans some insight into how their new title is probably coming together.

According to Take-Two, Red Dead Redemption 2 has racked up over $725 million in retail "sell-through", which means copies sold to actual customers and not just retailers themselves. It's now sold over 17 million units worldwide.

Over the weekend, Tennyson was shot and killed after a conversation he was having in his driveway turned "heated". Police believe the two men were involved in an altercation inside of the garage of Tennyson's house in Atlanta.

Red Dead Redemption 2 publisher Take-Two may be proud of the game's successful launch, but it won't give any hints as to when or if the game is getting a release on PC. A lot of folks (myself included) expected Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 to still potentially win the sales war in the calendar year of 2018, but after these insane numbers for Red Dead Redemption 2, it seems like the competition might already be over.

Like so many of Rockstar's games, Red Dead Redemption 2 trades heavily on its freedom. "Looking ahead, we have a strong development pipeline across our labels and are exceedingly well positioned for long-term growth and margin expansion", said Take-Two's CEO and Chairman Strauss Zelnick.
