BTS performs with Charlie Puth at 2018 MGAs

INCHEON •This year has been an exhilarating ride for BTS and what capped a cascade of their impressive feats was a bagful of trophies at a K-pop award show on their home turf of South Korea.

Aside from appearing as performers, BTS also bagged five awards: best artist of the year, best digital album of the year for "Love Yourself: Answer", best male dance performance for "IDOL", Genie music popularity award and best male group.

BTS will be attending the upcoming 2018 Melon Music Awards!

The group's producer Bang Si-hyuk was also named Best Producer while its performance director Son Sung-deuk was awarded Best Choreographer for his work on BTS' "Idol".

The boy band won the No.1 spot in seven categories, including boy group of the year, best-selling artist, and artist of the year - the last of which is the highest honor of the night.

Meanwhile, BTS ranked 61st on the Billboard 200 main albums chart for "Love Yourself: Answer", down from the previous week's 50th, according to the latest chart released Tuesday.
