Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union add baby to family

The star Heat guard and wife Gabrielle Union welcomed a new baby daughter to the family via surrogate on Wednesday night, Wade announced on Instagram and Twitter.

When Dwyane Wade missed Wednesday night's Heat win over San Antonio for "personal reasons", he wasn't kidding around.

Union has been extremely open about her fertility struggles this year, appearing on The Dr. Oz Show and revealing she's endured about eight or nine miscarriages.

The couple took to their respective Instagram pages and posted pictures of the moment they met their baby girl with an accompanying cute caption.

They first listed the lyrics to Bill Withers" classic feel-good song, Lovely Day, which include: "When I wake up in the mornin" love, And the sunlight hurts my eyes, ' and, "Then I look at you, And the world's alright with me / Just one look at you, And I know it's gonna be a lovely day'. Welcome to the party sweet girl! The star told Dr. Oz, "There's so much shame and mystery and guilt that surrounds fertility issues and that's why I wanted to include it in my book because I'm exhausted of it". He also has a third child, Xavier, from a previous relationship. Many congratulations to Union and Wade-and we can't wait to find out what the couple named their miracle.

Gabrielle also opened up in her book about how hard she found it being asked by other women whether she wants kids.

She said: 'Once a month I look like I'm in my second trimester because I'm bloated.

Proud step mom: Gabrielle has helped raise Dwyane's sons Zaire, 15, and Zion, 10 from his previous marriage to Siovaughn Funches who he divorced in 2010, as well as his nephew Dahveon Morris, 16.
