The Indian team management has rested three key players for the 3rd T20I clash against the Windies - Kuldeep Yadav, Umesh Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah. The trio is an integral part of the side in all formats and the team management has chose to give them ample rest before the marquee tour begins."The decision has been made to allow the trio to be in the best physical condition ahead of India's tour to Australia", read a press release from the BCCI. The right-arm seamer has not taken any wickets in the 50-overs format but has 3 wickets under his belt in the shortest format at an average of 13.

Rohit Sharma's unbeaten 111 off 61 balls powered India to a commanding 195 for two wickets, and he returned to marshal his bowlers who restricted Windies to 124-9 to earn an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Kuldeep was rested for the first ODI but played in the next four, as well as both T20Is. Men in Blue won the first T20 in Kolkata by five wickets, while Rohit Sharma's masterclass proved too much for the men from the Caribbean as India once again cruised home by 71 runs in Lucknow.

With the Japanese government maintaining that all matters of compensation were settled through a treaty in 1965, political tension is high between the two countries.

Kaul has been part of various Indian limited-overs squads, though his global appearances have been limited to three ODIs and two T20Is. He last played for India in the Asia Cup in September, featuring in the match against Afghanistan.

"The All-India Senior Selection Committee has added Siddarth Kaul to India's squad for the final T20I". Yuzvendra Chahal, Krunal Pandya, Shahbaz Nadeem and Washington Sundar are the spinners in the squad.
