Former first lady Michelle Obama says in her new book that she can not forgive President Donald Trump for publicizing a conspiracy theory about her husband that she says put her family in danger.

In her memoir "Becoming", set to come out Tuesday, Michelle Obama denounces the president for bragging in 2005 about sexually assaulting women, according to The Associated Press, which obtained a copy.

She writes that Trump's behavior on the debate stage - where he oddly wandered behind Clinton as she spoke - was meant to send a message: "I can hurt you and get away with it".

In it, Mrs. Obama talks about Trump following around Hillary Clinton on the debate stage as well as the Access Hollywood tape as well as Trump's message.

Obama's much-anticipated book will be coupled with a promotional tour taking place arenas such as Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

Although she typically refrains from directly criticizing her husband's successor, Obama has made various comments against Trump and his supporters. "What is going on in our heads where we let that happen, you know?" she said.
