Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle | Official Trailer [HD] | Netflix

Netflix has now unleashed a new trailer to go along with their announcement of the film's pre-streaming theatrical release, and it's safe to say that this menacing and dark take on the Jungle Book tale might not be suitable for the youngest of audiences.

But while filming began in March 2015, after which an intense period of post-production was underway, Disney released its own grounded and somewhat gritty The Jungle Book in 2016. And there's a new trailer online for the film too. We've seen this story so many times, but it still looks exciting & emotional to watch. Not only that, but Netflix's decision to release Oscar-contending films like ROMA and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs in theaters before they hit the streaming service-breaking Netflix's long-held rule about day-and-date releases-is now expanding to include Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle. That actually makes some sense, but what doesn't is that the movie is getting a theatrical release, which is odd considering Netflix is only doing that for films it thinks are award contenders.

Alexandre Lacazette denied Liverpool all three points with a late equaliser in north London. Liverpool fans on social media have been surprisingly downcast since the 1-1 draw.

"Acclaimed actor and director Andy Serkis reinvents Rudyard Kipling's beloved masterpiece, in which a boy torn between two worlds accepts his destiny and becomes a legend". Mowgli (Rohan Chand) has never truly belonged in either the wilds of the jungle or the civilized world of man. Now he must navigate the inherent dangers of each on a journey to discover where he truly belongs. The trailer also feels replete with cliches, something one would think a reimagining would avoid as much as possible. Just hit the buttons on the top of this page.
