Bullet train too far away! The idea drew a swift response from Musk, the CEO of the Boring Company. "Sure, we can do it", Musk tweeted Tuesday in response to Benioff's question. Piping and cement are just about the only things you see other than one of the two stations where passengers will board when the tunnel becomes publicly available on December 10, as well as Boring Company logos that serve to remind you who you should thank for cutting down your commute times.

The "disturbingly long" tunnel will serve as an alternative to escape the traffic and congestion on the ground above.

Elon Musk has tweeted a new video of a tunnel constructed under a Los Angeles suburb to test a new type of transportation system.

Sears to close Grand Island location
Sears Holdings is shutting down another 40 stores as the once dominant player in retail struggles to survive in bankruptcy. It's been hard to keep track of all the Sears stores closing over the past few years.

The tunnel runs about 3.2 kilometres under the streets of Hawthorne, where Musk's SpaceX headquarters is located.

Musk wrote, "Walked full length of Boring Co tunnel under LA tonight". Bay Area Rapid Transit has been serving San Francisco, the East Bay and the peninsula for decades, as has the more local San Francisco Muni.
