The iPhone X has problems with its touch screen, Apple has admitted, as it offers customers free repairs.

It turns out that "some" of the new displays Apple offered in the iPhone X had a faulty part that, when it failed, caused the screen to become intermittently or wholly unresponsive to your touch.

When the iPhone X was released previous year, it ushered in a new look and feel for Apple's headsets.

Apple warns that a cracked screen or other damage that impairs the fix will need to be fixed before the device is serviced.

One dead, multiple injured in Melbourne stabbing
Just after 5.20pm (local time), a body was seen lying under a white sheet on Bourke Street , near the entrance to Russell Place. The attack on Bourke Street horrified hundreds of onlookers during the afternoon rush hour in Australia's second-biggest city.

The issues could arise "due to a component that might fail on the display module", Apple said. As far as how widespread the issue is, Apple said that a limited number of 128GB and 256GB solid-state drives are affected. The laptops were sold from June 2017 to June 2018 with 128 gigabytes or 256 GB of storage and no Touch Bar, Apple said in a note to customers.

Last year, Apple began a massive battery replacement program after it conceded that a software update meant to help some iPhone models deal with aging batteries slowed down the performance of the phones. The battery imbroglio resulted in inquires from U.S. lawmakers.

Reuters reports that Apple acknowledged discovering some MacBook and iPhone X problems on Friday. The keyboards, which Apple introduced in laptops starting in 2015, had generated complaints on social media for how much noise they made while typing and for malfunctioning unexpectedly.
