The Lotto Max draw next Friday, November 16 will offer a jackpot estimated at $55-million dollars, plus 12 MaxMillions prizes worth a million dollars each. The first Tuesday draw will be made on May 14.

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) said the second draw every week means lottery players will see jackpots grow more quickly than ever before.

The $70-million figure would be the largest jackpot in Canadian history.

The Lotto Max jackpot cap was last increased in 2015, when it was set at $60 million, a $10 million jump from when the game was introduced in 2009.
