According to the report, the Patriots are hoping another week off combined with the team's Week 11 bye week will help the tight end heal and get his body right for a playoff run.

Gronk was listed as questionable coming into the weekend and it sure seemed based on the way he presented his situation to reporters on Friday that he might not be playing for New England in Nashville on Sunday.

The New England Patriots (7-2) left Lambeau Field with their seventh win of the season last week in a sound 31-17 victory over the Green Bay Packers.

Everton admitted to offering inducements to seven young players, and their families, in a bid to encourage them to register with the club.

The New England Patriots are taking an extra-cautious approach with their star tight end. New England ranks No. 5 in the National Football League in points per game, scoring over 30 in five of their nine games. In seven games this season, Gronkowski has just one touchdown and is averaging 64 yards receiving per game.

"It's been more challenging, just with the obstacles in the way", Gronkowski told reporters recently, via the Boston Herald. And now the two of them get to battle it out in an important AFC contest. "It'll all be good".
