Time sure does fly when you're having fun. In what seems to be much shorter space than five years, PlayStation has sold more than 86.1 Million hardware units, in addition to over 777.9 Million software units worldwide. That's an unbelievable achievement that no platinum trophy could even touch.

In honor of the console's fifth anniversary, Sony has revealed that it's sold more than 86 million units of the popular gaming system to date, along with nearly 778 million software units worldwide.

The top five best-selling titles overall for PlayStation 4 are "Grand Theft Auto V", "FIFA 17", "FIFA 18", "Call of Duty: Black Ops III", and "Call of Duty: WWII". And Sony is celebrating this anniversary with a new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 bundle that will sell for $300 when it becomes available on November 27.
