Deepika & Ranveer Twin In Sabyasachi Outfits for Chooda Ceremony

The newly married couple released the first photos from their wedding and we can not get enough of it.

From the looks of it, the picture looks like it was taken on the couple's Konkani wedding held on November 14 at Lake Como, Italy where the bride and groom as well as the guests were dressed around the white and gold colour theme. An Instagram story, put by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, reveals that this picture is from their chooda (pre-wedding function) ceremony. "@deepikapadukone @ranveersingh", she wrote, wishing the actor on his D-Day. Ranveer wore a red-sherwani and a leheriya safa while Deepika looked the ideal North Indian bride with a heavily embroidered lehenga. Deepika's hands are hennaed while Ranveer goes quirky and teams up his kurta and desi jacket look with a pair of sneakers. Though there were just two of them, the photographs were gorgeous enough to send the world into a frenzy.

After nearly two days of impatient waiting which felt like an eternity, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone finally chose to make their wedding pictures public. Their wedding ensemble and jewellery was done from "head-to-toe" by Sabyasachi.

In fact, there has been considerable discussion on her rectangle-shaped wedding ring, a cushion-cut diamond set in platinum, that is estimated to cost around Rs 2.1 crore.

Ranveer and Deepika are expected to return to the country on November 18 after which the two will host a reception for friends and relatives on November 21 in Bengaluru. The couple then will host a grand reception in Mumbai for the film fraternity which will see the whos and who of Bollywood in attendance.
