WhatsApp Sticker Apps Reportedly Being Removed From App Store

The issue was first reported late last week on tech blog PiunikaWeb as users started having issues with the popular social networking and micro-blogging site's iOS app.

Basically, those who had the iOS app installed said they can't do a search with Safe Mode off, and those who uninstalled the app for whatever reason were complaining the app is nowhere to be found on the App Store.

Representing a new source of angst for Tumblr users, the Tumblr app has seemingly disappeared from Apple's App Store, meaning those who deleted the app from their iPhone and want to reinstall it can no longer do so. Firstly, it says that the App Store has too many apps with similar behaviour.

Some users were able to redownload the app by going to their purchase page, but that didn't answer the plaguing question on everyone's mind-where did Tumblr go?

Tumblr has mysteriously vanished from Apple's App Store, and it's not clear why. "Once you add the stickers from the app to WhatsApp, you can remove or uninstall the app from your phone and continue to send those stickers".

Realme U1 coming to India on November 28, will be Amazon exclusive
Last week, Realme confirmed that it plans to launch a new phone under its U-series and looks like it is none other than the U1. In terms of design, the Realme U1 is most likely to mimic the Realme 2 Pro with a different chipset and a different processor.

Post this announcement, the Apple App Store began being flooded with these sticker apps.

Whatever the case might be, with Tumblr acknowledging the missing app from the App Store, it is likely that we will see it make its return sooner than later.

Tumblr have yet to post an update on the issue since 3:23PM EST.

As 9to5 Mac noted, the issue may have something to do with inappropriate content that violated Apple's guidelines, which has led Apple to pull apps before.
